And most recently...

Last week, Evan turned 5!!!  I cannot believe it!  For his party, he asked for ROBOTS!  At first, I was at a loss- I don't know anything about robots!!  But, the more I looked, the more I found.  It turned out to be one of the easiest (and most fun) themes he could have chosen!

Coming in the door... meeting the 'Welcome Bot!'

The mantel decorations... thanks to Page for building our robot friends.

The food table was an assembly line of sorts... the various treats having names like 'Fruit Bytes', 'Wire', 'Cellulose Composites', etc.

The cupcake tower that Page came up with.  Worked perfectly!!

Because of the weather, we had to change up the games a bit.  We combined the bean-bag toss with the "Pin-the-part-on-the-robot" game.  The kids seemed to like it, and that is what matters. :)

The adults had lots of fun chatting.

Almost too many candles for a cupcake. :)

That is a BIG BITE!!!

We tried to corral the kiddos in one place for the cupcake portion of the food... it                          worked well to contain the mess. :)

While opening gifts, there was lots of silliness to be seen...

Watching people open gifts can really make a girl thirsty!

A musical 'Super Hero Squad' card was the most coveted item for a while... Cameron kept it the longest by hiding under the table!

When all was said and done, each child got a robot snack, and a couple of fun items to take home.  The party was definitely a success.

The birthday boy with Dad, and Mom.

Happy 5th Birthday to our little man!
