Evan officially turned one on Saturday March, 28th. It was a great day for a party. We had about 35-40 people at our house to celebrate. We had burgers and cake and a ton of fun. Evan was given lots of clothes and toys, which he started playing with as soon as they were opened. Here are a few pictures of the happenings of the evening.
Here are a few decorations- we loved the idea of making it a birthday of 'firsts.'
The cake- I think it was good, I don't think I ever got time for a piece.
Evan loved the cake, but not so much the cleanup.
He was pretty excited when it came to the gifts, but wanted to play with each one as it came out of the wrapping. He loves his toys!
Thanks to everyone who came, and everyone who loves Evan for helping us through this first year. It has been a whirlwind, but a fun one!!
