Grapeland & bluebonnets

This past weekend, we headed off to Grapeland to visit my family. It was a great weekend- we were able to celebrate my brother's upcoming wedding with a bridal shower at our church, and we were able to relax and hang out with family and friends. Here is a picture of Evan and my grandmother (Ma) playing on the porch at my parent's house Saturday morning & another of Evan crawling around the yard.




While we were there, we decided that it was a great time to get pictures of Evan in the bluebonnets (a texas tradition for sure). Here are Mom, Evan and me in the patch of blue.

Evan loved all the colors of the different flowers- we helped him carry some color with him. :)

Evan loved tromping the flowers and picking them off of the stems.

Everyone adores our little man. There was no lack of attention to be given, that is for sure. Here Evan is playing with my brother Casey.
