Page if off work this week because he had a hernia repair surgery last Thursday. He is doing very well, and each day he is able to get around better and better. It is really hard for him not to have the ability to hold/pick up Evan. They are good buddies, so it had been tough not to do things how he is used to.
Zachary and Evan are now so into everything, that I finally moved a lot of the things I did not want them to touch. I was determined to teach them just not to touch them, but I gave it up. It was exhausting. When they better understand, those items will come back out, and we can start the process all over again. I am trying my best to keep my head above water at the moment, between 24/7 care for Evan (which I am blessed to have such a helpful husband- when he is physically able) and taking care of things around the house, I am pretty wiped out. Thankfully, it is getting better each day as well. Today, Evan and I went to the Frisco mall to get pictures with the Cat in the Hat, and attempted story time. Our friend Bree and her son Jamison were also there, and it was good. Both of the boys liked looking at the character, but neither was interested in the story. So, we went home. It was good to get out, and it was something different to do. We enjoyed it, even though Evan's face does not really show that.
I know there are more adventures to come...until then, have fun.
