One Month Already...

Wow, I cannot believe that Evan has already been here for a month-today! He is getting so cute, and has started smiling when he is in a good mood. We have had several cholicy evenings, but overall he is doing great, and sleeping well at night when we sleep. Life is good, and I am trying to gear up to go back to school in a few weeks. Page is starting a different schedule this week- his hours will be crazy, so our house will be crazy again for a few weeks. We are doing great and look forward to seeing you all.

Better late than never...

Well, we are finally parents. Our little guy is the cutest, sweetest child ever, and we cannot get enough of him. Evan arrived on March 28th and was just shy of 8 pounds and 21 inches long. It has been an interesting couple of weeks trying to adjust to the lack of sleep (something noone can ever really prepare you for). But, we are getting settled into as much of a routine as we can have with a 2 week old baby. I hope that you enjoy the pictures. I will do my best to update this when I can.

So Ready...

Page and I are so ready to meet our little Evan. He will be here any minute, and I can't wait. We are waiting patiently, and our family will be arriving soon. By Monday we will be parents. It is quite scary, but I know that God has given us this child, and He will help us with all that needs to be done. He has already given us tons of great resources in the people around us. We are blessed.

We have finished the baby's room (for the most part) and there is now baby stuff in almost every room in the house. Here are a couple pictures of the nursery. I think it has come together quite nicely. We still have some shelf space if we need it (and I am sure that we will), and the closet is not over-crowded either.
