Time is flying...

I cannot believe that it is already into January! Well, Evan is now 9 months old, and is walking along all of the furniture, walls, toys, etc. I am sure we will see him standing on his own and walking any day now. He is getting so big, and is starting to look like a little boy instead of a baby. He did not get his first tooth until about 3 weeks ago, but now they are coming in full force- he already has 3 in, and working on #4. Poor guy. During Christmas, we had about 2 full weeks of holiday fun. We were able to see most of our family by traveling to west Texas, and to California. It was great to see Page's family in California. I don't have pictures of most of that trip on my camera, so I will share pictures when I get them from someone else. We are back into the swing of 'normal' life- Page at work, and me at home with Evan and Zachary. Page is turning 29 next Tuesday (the 13th), so we are having a small party for him on Saturday- I think it will be fun. He is officially 'old' for 4 months until I join him, then we are both 'young'. I hope that you all had a fantastic Christmas and New Year celebration. I really hope to keep up the blog better in the new year- we will see how that goes.

Evan got to see pretty grass that is not brown and dead, he is an outdoors boy!!

We were able to go the beach a couple of times, even though it was pretty chilly...

Evan loved the beach, and would have played in the sand all day if we let him.

Getting ready for Christmas...

Well, time just keeps on flying! Evan turned 8 months old last week- it is hard to believe. We are working on getting the house ready for Christmas. It has been interesting to keep Evan and Beast away from the tree- they both love it (for different reasons of course). We went to the Rasmussen's house for Thanksgiving day-I would have a picture of Evan's adorable '1st Thanksgiving' bib, but he had an issue with some mashed potatoes, and we did not need a picture of the result. For the weekend, we went to Oklahoma to be with my Mom's side of the family, and were able to see a ton of family. It was a great weekend. We swapped services with the Green family, and did Christmas pictures, so here are a few that we came up with. Hope you are all having a fabulous and unstressed Christmas preparation.

Halloween...

Wow, time is flying. I sat down to update everything, and realized I never finished from the last time I was updating. Sorry- life happens. So, here are a few pictures of Evan from halloween. He was the cutest little bear ever. We also had a small group party where we dressed up, but sadly I don't have that picture on hand- you can look @ the Green's page to find it. Now to the pictures...

Evan and Zach had the same pumpkin shirt, so we wore them on Thursday.

Evan tasting and playing with a couple of pieces of Whitney & Aaron's pirate costumes.

Evan and Zach going to Sonic- Evan with his motorcycle cap, and Zach with a mohawk-

And... the little bear with his pumpkins.

Visiting Family

We have seen several memebers of our family over the last few weeks. We went to see my parents in Grapeland a couple of weeks ago. One the way back, we were able to see my cousin Clint, and his daughter Emily. This was the first time that Emily has seen Evan, so she was pretty excited. Here are a couple of pictures of that trip.

Some cute videos!

As Evan is more able to do things, he is hilarious. I laugh everyday just watching him do new things, or do his version of what Page and I do. He is adorable!!

He is now a master-crawler, and Beast is definitely to be chased.

This is a funny face he makes, and lately he has started snorting and breathing really hard when he makes it. I cannot help but crack up!!
