As Evan is more able to do things, he is hilarious. I laugh everyday just watching him do new things, or do his version of what Page and I do. He is adorable!!
He is now a master-crawler, and Beast is definitely to be chased.
This is a funny face he makes, and lately he has started snorting and breathing really hard when he makes it. I cannot help but crack up!!

Evan update
Evan is all over the place now!! He is an expert crawler/sitter, and is now well on his way to master standing and pulling up. Here are some random pictures of he and Zach having some fun times at our house. (Zach is the little guy that I watch- he is the same age as Evan).

Peanut Festival 08
Well, we took our annual trip to Grapeland with my college buddies. It is always a great weekend to hang out, eat a ton, and enjoy the great music. We had a lot of fun this year, even though we missed the parade and the queen's pageant. The menu this year included the traditional turkey leg, some beans and hot water cornbread, funnel cake, fudge, root beer floats, lemonade, and I think someone had pie. And all of that was just at the park during the day. It was good stuff. For those who have never been, we pretty much just sit under the tall pines, and look at people all day. Great times!

First week of Autumn!!

Only one week into autumn, and we are having fun. On Wednesday of last week, my Mommy group and all of the kids went to the Dallas Arboretum to enjoy the pumpkin patch. It was great- very warm, but it was fun. We got some great pictures, and enjoyed a day in the outdoors.
On Saturday, we went to what I think was McKinney's first Oktoberfest. It was once again very warm- not fallish at all, but it was fun to walk around with friends and see what the festival had to offer.
Evan and Claire hanging out in the stroller. Such a cute couple!
Sunday was Evan's half birthday- that's right- he has already been here for 6 months!! I can't believe it. We went to the Dr. today, and he is just short of 20 pounds and is almost 28 inches long. He is in the 83rd percentile for all of his measurements. So, he is a big boy. He is sitting without help, and we are still waiting for him to crawl any time- he scoots, but hasn't figured out how to use his hands yet. He has been trying veggies, but doesn't seem to like them much. Overall, he is doing great.

Time is flying!
Well, Evan is now a little over 5 months old. He is getting so big. He is now able to sit up for a pretty good while, and rolls like a crazy guy all over the place. He will be crawling any time now- he's pulling his legs up, but can't quite get his head to go where it needs to. He has now started into the wonderful world of rice cereal and oatmeal, so other foods are just around the corner. We had a visit last weekend from my parents, and brother Casey- with his fiance Amanda. It was a ton of fun, and Evan enjoyed having so much attention. I have started keeping another little boy- Zachary- during the week. He is 11 days older than Evan, so it seems like I have twins during the day. He is a sweet boy, and they are getting along well so far. Evan is so curious about everything around him, so it is hard to keep him out of things. We are having fun learning new stuff.
